Dwelling: Waterlily Series
Wales has drowned villages beneath its reservoirs — whole communities submerged, their outlines visible on still days. This glass house begins there. Colour and light move between its surfaces the way water moves — refracting, dissolving, suggesting forms that don't quite resolve. Emotions that have no other language find a place here. The house contains the swirling and keeps it safe. As a symbol it is ancient and stubborn: shelter, belonging, the thing we carry with us and long for.
Each Dwelling combines hand-painted glass that has been sandblasted, engraved and enamelled. Each Dwelling is shown from three angles illustrating their changing nature and interplay of surfaces. .
Hand-painted, signed and dated
12.5 × 8 × 7.5cm
Price includes packaging and postage.
